“12 By 3″ is a demo album for compositions created by Creative Jazz Composers for advanced high school and college jazz bands. 12 compositions are on the album, recorded in 1971 by The One o’clock Lab Band at North Texas State University in Denton, Tx and by the Bowie (Md.) High School Starliners. The album liner includes notes from each composer on the compositions and from the two band leaders, as well.
